Please do not forget to check out as this could result in a search and rescue operation.

If you are asked to leave the water in the event of a full race cancellation, the allocated time has elapsed or for other safety reasons, the decision of the event marshals is final and you must leave the water immediately.

If you choose to leave the water before the end of the race, please make your way to the finish line to check out. If you are unable to do so please see the nearest marshal who can contact the finish line on your behalf.

Your swim buddy may check you out of the swim if you are unable to, they will need to hand in your wrsitband so we know that you have exited the water.

Anybody exiting the water before the finish line will be disqualified from the race and asked to hand in their wristband, if you re enter the water this is at your own risk.
